Okay, if any of you remember, my sister bought a generic asscher from Whiteflash. That thread is here:
Initial quest
After a lot of searching, she found elements of vintage rings she liked (mainly from Fay Cullen pictures) and then interviewed a number of So. Cal. custom jewelers to see who could help her craft her perfect ring. In the end, the only two who seemed to understand the care and intricacy involved, and who could help her modify her desired elements into an attractive yet durable ring were Singlestone and Renaissance Platinum. There were others she thought would work if she were looking for a sleek, modern ring, but not for one with vintage elements.
She ended up with Singlestone. They initially told her 4-6 weeks, but in the end it took about 8 weeks. Here''s the initial wax:
