Was this minor oil only? It's so bright that it looks blinding in the sun!

Maybe I'll ask Inken to source me an emerald someday. Sure sounds like you're keeping yours!

Definitely keeping it and that is why the outside pics look strange— the glow is amazing. Yes, minor oil only.

TL will fuss at me for the ring holder (I was so careful) but my English bulldog thinks the emerald is something to eat! And she’s going crazy over the flash, so I wanted to be careful. (DH and twins just left for NYC so the dogs are freaky right now— if you know English bulldogs, you know)...

This is a new fresh hell trying to take a pic of the emerald and my asscher. One lights up—- the other does dark.

I would love to do a moi et toi but it will take me a long time to save up for that. I’ll look though—- maybe a pear? Something not so matchy matchy?

What do you all think? Jackie Kennedy? Lol

Hummmm, I could trade in my M colored emerald diamond and trade up to a .75 round, which is about 5.7mm. That might work.

@fantapanda thank you!
@natasha-cupcake thank you!
@mpc it’s a complete coincidence. If I didn’t love my CVB ID setting so much, I’d put them together. I have to think more on what I want to do.

@ZestfullyBling I do think I’m getting good picking gems, but I also think it helps using vendors recommended here, obviously. Inken has a good eye for gems, and I happened to catch her at JKC so it went fast.

@minousbijoux I am touched you like it so much— I love your collection.

I promised pics today, but I got distracted attacking the dust and dog hair in my home today. Soon I will do better pics.

I’ll probably send it for a gem brief since it’s going to have to sit a bit.
It's been a while but IIRC, the gem brief will not specify what it was treated with or the level of treatment. If it says oil, it doesn't specify what oil (dyed or mixed with resin, or type of oil) or something like that.
