In fact--I''m always in favor of more asscher threads--why don''t you start a new one to keep us apprised of your progress w/ WF & GOG? There''s one poster, strmdr (we call him storm) who is an asscher guru and he is a GREAT resource once you pics and numbers for stones you''re considering. Jonathan at GOG is also GREAT w/ asschers!! There are definitely generic asschers/cut cornered sq. emeralds out there which come close to the royal asscher look and I''m sure you''ll find a winner! Can''t wait to see what you''re considering!

blueroses (by the way, love your name...i''m a rose freak...sure wish the rose breeders could get us a blue rose), again, i appreciate your input and advice. thank you. i just finished emailing tim of GOG the asschers i''d prefer from GOG''s website...hopefully he''ll get back to me tomorrow. i''ll keep postin'' my progress for ya... also, if you wanna read my first post in this forum (first for any forum actually, i''m new) look under ''rocky talky'', page 3 under ''who''s who?''.....that way you can get up to speed on where i''m comin'' from... lol....

I can''t wait to see another asscher around here. Hopefully we will be getting one from GOG in the next couple of months. You should start a new thread for your asscher search!
