Hello!
Some of you may recall that I posted a note about six weeks ago, suggesting that eternity bands may not be a great choice for those who have arthritis. I just celebrated my first anniversary, and was so sad that I could no longer wear my engagement ring and vintage eternity band for several months because I developed arthritis in my hands. I was SO sad.
So...I sat down with my jeweler and decided that resetting the engagement ring stones into a much thinner setting was the way to go. The new band is 1/2 size larger and is sizable. I just got home from vacation, picked the ring up, and I could not be happier. It is so pretty. And the most wonderful part of my happy little ending is that I can now wear my vintage eternity band with it on my "good days." My new meds have helped get the swelling in my hands down.
So here are a few photos, since some of you asked me to post them when the new ring arrived. My camera is so old, so my apologies for the poor quality. These shots make my diamonds look like they''re filthy and full of inclusions, but they''re neither...I wish I had a better camera.
Last, but not least, thank you everyone for being so sweet when I posted before.
