Personally, I think Adam''s going to win the whole thing, and that''s my psychic Miss Cleo moment for the day. If I were the only voter in America, I think I''d go something like

7 Lil (She never hit her stride to me. I think she came in cocky, didn''t do as well as she thought she would, and never recovered her self-confidence)

6 Anoop (bores me into a coma--he can definitely sing, but nothing about him would make me pay money for a concert ticket)

5 Matt (and I hate to say it because when he''s on, he''s my third fave, but he''s too inconsistent!)

4 Danny (definitely likable but quickly getting boring, IMO. he''s a FAB singer, but I also can''t see him being a huge star anywhere other than maybe as a Christian artist or something. He''s just too clean-cut or something!)

3 Kris (he''s growing on me more and more. has more of the singer/songwriter appeal to me than that of a major star, though)

2 Allison (love her voice, but she needs to show a little personality. i think if she were charming, she''d be a huge favorite)

1 Adam (he''s theatrical and nutty, yes. but he''s the only one to me who has true charisma on stage--he looks comfortable and energetic up there and he PERFORMS as opposed to just standing there, singing, then going backstage a la...well, everyone else! love him or hate him, i bet you can''t help but watch to see what he does, and that''s what makes sales)

Doodle, I think the exact same thing you do, regarding Lil. I think she was way too cocky earlier on, she''s not doing that well, and now she''s faltering too much to have confidence.

I think Adam will win but I really hope Kris does. My guess is that Kris will still get a recording contract, regardless what happens at the end of the season.

I wasn''t shocked b/c she''s been in the bottom 3 before. I think she is just having trouble connecting with the voters for some reason although she''s an amazing singer/performer.

So I have a question that may be very obvious, but I didn''t catch the intros so I wasn''t sure... was the group performance last night supposed to seem SO lip-synched?? Like was it supposed to be obvious that it was prerecorded and they were just synching b/c they had to dance with this one? Even the timing was really off...

Honestly, I only ever watch the last minute or so of the results show because the rest of it gets on my nerves. Not that my reply answers your question at all, but I just figured saying something might bump it back up in case someone else wanted to comment, haha! I hate the group performances--I don''t need to see them dance! That''s why I tune into So You Think You Can Dance? when that one''s on!

I really didn''t like Matt''s performance! I like him, but I found it to be insanely pitchy and boring. This is his genre, and I feel like he had to do better than normal because of that, and he didn''t.

I am inclined to agree with this, but i really didn''t LOVE danny this week and i don''t know why

. I usually really like him a lot, and the judges liked him, but it just didn''t do it for me this week...

I loved Kris tonight and Allison. I thought it was one of Danny''s best performances and Adam is just an amazing performer to me. But I agree that I can see myself buying a Danny record but probably wouldn''t buy anything Adam came up with. I would have loved to see him in Wicked though, Broadway is just the perfect fit for him.

He was in the touring company of Wicked and a few other Broadway shows. I think the rule is you can''t have been signed with a major label. The Irish girl from last season had an album out, that sold like 3 copies, prior to taping AI.

Here are the rules:

If you are asked to audition for one (1) or more of the semi-final rounds of the competition (currently scheduled for November 200, you MUST be able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of Producer at that time that you do not have any of the following agreements in effect (written or oral):
a contract for talent representation (for example, a talent agent or manager);

an agreement relating to the use of your name, voice and/or likeness;

an exclusive acting contract; or

any other contractual arrangement that would prohibit you from fully participating in the show and/or entering into any contracts required by Producer, including an exclusive management contract, recording contract and merchandising contract.

I really like Adam, I don''t have a clue what type of album he''d make though.

Last night was the first that I thought Chris was good.

Allison was great, but her personality is not that of a 17 year old and I think that turns people off. Jordan Sparks (who I didn''t like) was all cutesy and innocent and people were drawn to that.

I didn''t like Matt at all.

Last night was the first that I didn''t enjoy Danny.

I have to say that I love Adam. He has such amazing mad vocal skills and can do anything. I am compelled to watch him because you never know what he''s going to do next and maybe I''m just an old cougar at heart but there''s just something about him that really pulls me in. I will buy anything he releases after Idol.

I think I''d like Adam as a *person* ... he''d probably be more fun to hang out with than most of that crowd ... but he''s just not my cup of tea *musically*. I think I''ve only owned one or two Broadway cds & I almost think RENT doesn''t count because it was so ubiquitous in its day.

Dial Idol has been wrong all season .. but they have Matt going home with Kris in the bottom two. Also, for the first time this season DANNY is in the #1 slot. Again, probably all BS judging from their track record but figured I''d post just in case ...

Also last week the most popular ITunes downloads leaked ... Adam is doing the best with Kris coming in 2nd place. Could that foretell the final two?

Re: lip-synching- I think I read that all of the group performaces are indeed taped and therefore, they always lip synch. Can''t remember the reason.

Have to say, I am pretty bored by everyone now. I like some of the performances, but have yet to be really blown away. Adam is by far the most "interesting" but I agree with Deco, not sure that I would buy any CD''s from him. Then again, I don''t think I would or have bought albums from any of the winners of AI so I guess I''m not the demographic. I like Kelly Clarkson and David Cook, but that''s it. And Jennifer Hudson, but she didn''t win.

I liked all five of ''em last night, but I think Matt''s going home. Last night was the first one where I really loved Kris Allen. He channeled Michael Buble. For me, he''s been a little too teeny-bopper the whole season, but he didn''t go there last night. Adam could sing the phone book and make it interesting for me--he''s just an innovative performer, and I love that he always brings something new to the table. Danny is an AH-MAZING singer, but he usually isn''t interesting. He very rarely changes things up, so for me, he''s way too karaoke. He was good last night though, and it was the first time in a while that he interested me. And I still heart Allison. I just love her voice!
