Anyone heard of the seller "Jim McCormick" AKA"Elvisprasiolite"?

I haven't ever bought a stone off of Jim, but he seems nice enough and is quite active on Facebook. Always diplomatic even with big-time cranks.

I just wanted to chime in about caratzone2015. I just received my first stone from them last week -- a "platinum" spinel that looked GORGEOUS in the photos -- and it ended up being a typical light grey-violet spinel with a giant freaking window. And the worst part? I dropped it between the seat of my car and it's now in the "under the seat" void. I am so sad. Lesson learned. On a couple of fronts.

I purchased a peachy pink zircon from him back in the day and I had a good experience. I didn't drop a ton of $$$ on it, but I found it to be an accurate description and a perfectly pleasing little learner stone.

He runs a FB group that I am a member of, and I appreciate the time he takes to enforce the photograph rules, make sure things are about as transparent and fair as one can be in a Facebook group.
