I saw there were some old threads about Black, Starr & Frost from a few years ago. However, my GF saw a few e-rings that she really likes at Black, Starr & Frost, but I''m not familiar w/ them. Has anyone heard of them? Anyone know what they''re all about now? Any opinions? Thanks so much!!!

I believe that currently BS & F has a privately owned store or two in CA.
Once, the oldest jewelry company in the US..the names changed slightly over
the years. In the early 1990''s the remaining BS & F stores were part of the
Sterling, Inc. acquisition of Kay Jewelers. The level of merchandise quality was
reduced and Rolex was taken out of the remaining stores. That''s a little history,
but I do not know the current status. Their older estate jewelry is still known
for its fine quality and appears frequently at auction.
Disclaimer: I was the District Manager for BS & F in MD/VA markets in 1993-94.
