Anyone have an opinion of this vendor?

I did not buy from them; I ended up having a dealer find my stone in Tucson at the show.
But, I did find a stone prior to that on their website that looked very promising. I exchanged some emails with a gentleman, and he pulled the stone and looked it over and I felt he was giving me an honest opinion. I did not actually purchase, but I had a good feeling about the business, for whatever that is worth.

Hey Kenny! Are you adding more to the collection?

For those prices, I would insist on a GIA report, and I looked through a couple and only saw their own in-house report. I don't care for that.

ETA: I see they carry some with GIA reports, but I would insist on that for any pricey stone.

BTW, I think their pricing is a little outrageous. For example, Leibish would never charge this much for such a diamond color. I'm sorry, but this is super overpriced.

But then again, isn't any diamond way over priced?

All colorless diamonds are overpriced, but when it comes to colored diamonds, that's a different animal. ;))

But it's a cute doggie . . .

Kenny, don't you live in NYC? I thought you mentioned it in some post or other. Did you already try the diamond district? I think there are a few posts about NY city vendors on PS. Even if they don't have colored stones themselves, they will refer you to other reliable vendors who do. They'll get a little kickback, but the referral will be good.

I'm with TL, looks like some diamond pieces are seriously overpriced. Since colored diamonds seem to have a "whatever you can get" price point, I'm kind of wondering.

Gene, (or anybody else with the info) maybe you should start a thread on the raw tonnage of diamonds mined per year versus the quantity of various gemstones. I think a bar graph would be really interesting to see. . .

Sorry, I looked again, and I was mistaken. This was not the company I worked with.

Kenny lives in LA.

Some pretty diamonds BUT the pricing is eye watering! I think there are better deals to be had but if you've fallen in love with a particular one ..............
