Anyone have 3 pointers in their shank of a halo ring?

Hello I would love any photos from anyone regarding halo design and melee size.
I'm having a HW Micropave design that has some small changes made. I know everyone loves the super tiny mellee, but on my finger a skinny shank looks odd. I need some width in the band - around 3mm is a great size for me.

However to do this and to keep as little metal showing, the mellee would need to be 3 pointers in the shank and 1.5 in halo (to keep the proportions)... Would be great to see some photos? My centre stone is a 1.5ct cushion from GOG. I need to decide f it dosen't look right, I will go with no stones at all on the shank.
I am using single cut mellee.

However, I do love a bit of razzle dazzle so I'm not scared of size, just don't want it to be gawdy!

Not sure if this helps, but the ring i just had made by ERD (photo's Here) as 1.7mm melee (just over 2point each i believe) my centre stone is 1.04ct. So the proportions should be similar for 1.5ct cushion and 3point melee. I believe the width of my band is 2.1mm (estimate before ring was made, not actual measurement)

Thanks SS! Is the melee size the same all over or just on the shank? Oh I can''t wait to see a handshot on you! Looks lovely.. What is your ring size?

The melee should be the same size all over. Size of the melee is a little larger than i originally wanted, but the availability of good pink melee determined the size. (was originally aiming for 1.5 point)

The pink melee is 18 stones 1.7mm diameter and 40points total weight (only 16 used in the ring). i haven't confirmed the actual ct weight of the white melee, but i did ask Mark at ERD to use the same size stones.

ETA - ring size is 5.5

Not sure if this will help, but the shank on my ring is 2.5mm (not sure on the weight of the diamonds since I don't have the paperwork in front of me right now).
(the wb is approx 1.5mm)

Oh THANKS PP! That does help. Do you have any full hand shots at all? (So i can see the width across your finger).

CN...I''m not sure how large the pointers are in Bliss''s ring however I do believe they are larger than the normal 1 and 2 pointers you normally see. Her''s might even be bigger. I think I have some on my home computer, I will look later today.

Also, I looked up the paperwork and it said the diamonds in the shank were .43tcw for 14 stones which equals almost exactly 3 pointers.

My custom ring is 1 and 2 pointers. Its not the same, but it might give you an idea of the proportion between one and the other.
