Browsing last night and I came across this one carat old mine cut ring. I know it's a big world but did anyone happen to buy it? Would you buy it and how much would you pay for it?

I swear I saw a feather running down one side but I also need to make an appointment for an eye exam lol!

One thing's for sure, that setting is atrocious.
The monster prongs smother that stone. And the wide band is very 1970's.
That seller's hairy knuckles don't do that ring any favors!
I'm glad someone rescued this diamond! Let's hope they change out the setting.

@stracci2000, you are so right about the setting! However assuming it doesn't have any major inclusions or chips, that's a pretty good deal for a one carat mine cut. In fact I see plenty of larger transitionals and OEC's but not as many mine cuts, wonder why?

I just went and looked at it and it has a noticeable chip on one side don’t know how it got VSI , I didn’t see a feather but like you I need my eyes checked

It says the stone "has no florence." I would never buy a stone that had no florence! Florence is a huge must for me. Unless it had Venice. Or Paris.
