No, I gotcha telephone - mainly, why dilute the message now with an alternative that may make him question the whole thing.

I'll go back to the table, ask again, and see what happens. I can have that alternative in my back pocket if I see if there's absolutely no moving forward any other way - I can reexamine giving him the option then.
