Any information on pink diamonds and plastic deformation?

I know that pink diamonds get their color from plastic deformation but I was wondering if anyone could point me to resources that have more information about that. I teach a materials science course and would love to be able to incorporate that into my class....

You should come to the GTG in Houston. I think AGS may be discussing something new and interesting regarding fancy color diamonds. Don't tell anyone though as I was not supposed to mention it.
