hoping someone with experience can weigh in. Ideally I would have additional things like ASET images and such, but I'd be interested in any opinions based on the information I have below. Any red flags that you can see based on the dimensions, etc? I'd like to try to understand any expected performance.

Thanks!

Looks good

the link to the GIA report is not working! would love to see it

i'm not expert, but it looks great! I'm sure others (more knowledgeable and experienced PS members) will chime in on this as well, but in my non expert opinion if you haven't finalized this purchase, I think you can definitely save some money by going down in color to an H or even an I (like mine! tons of pics here - https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/curious-about-what-you-think.201040/). it faces up extremely white, from the profile there is a slight tint in certain lighting, but I really have to look for it. it would save you quite a chunk of change or you could bump up your carat size a bit if you want!

You will find it very hard to get an enthusiastic opinion of the potential performance of this diamond based on the information you have provided - there are simply too many variables. One reason is that a MRB diamond only has one pavilion angle which extends all the way to the culet and one crown angle to the table. A princess-cut has two in each direction, so there is little certainty in angle and proportion.

See this report for explanation:

Another consideration is the way a certain diamond is presented on the report can be the result of choices made - here is information on that:

https://www.pricescope.com/journal/numbers_and_perception_case_square_diamondcuts

Though the specific usage of number-crunching has been debated, the information is still important to consider. In any event, the resultant advice is the same: an ASET image will tell you about performance - lacking that we can only guess.

Hi Vedder and welcome!

It does look nice from the photo but as Hawk rightly says, we really need an ASET image in order to gain any meaningful info concerning the optical performance of this diamond as it's not possible to comment on that aspect without, can the vendor supply you with one? They might be able to on request.
