Can we say anything about the LP of this cushion based on the cert and photo here? Thanks!

Photo not much, it just confirms its a 4 main cushion modified brilliant.
Certificate proportions don't have enough information to evaluate performance, however that facet structure usually translates to smaller flashes.
To know about LP get an ASET image and/or video.
Is there a particular look you are going for?
I noticed you keep choosing CMBs is that because of their lower price?

I am going for small to medium flashes, so not an antique. When I ask for that, dealers often show me CMBs. I have nothing against CB but my budget is low for a 3 ct stone, so the price is probably factoring in too when the dealers choose stones.

Thanks for your input!

The antique style doesn't have to have big bold flashes they can be broken up more like this one:

Thanks! This is a very helpful fact that I didn't know before.

Perhaps a larger one of these as well may fit your ~27k budget.

I love that SCHA from GOG. If it were up to me I would buy that. But to her, weight matters; she wants a 3 ct stone. So I am trying to find the best cut 3 ct stone within my budget that I can. I have asked around and I think SCHA is out of the picture unfortunately.

Given your restricted budget and specs the one you presentend is promising and worth looking at in video or with an ASET. I found it on Bluenile but I suspect many vendors could call in the same stone to give you a firm idea of its LP.

If using that vendor ask them to take other photographs where the light comes predominantly from overhead and to avoid lighting the pavilion (bottom) of the diamond.

Good-Luck,
CCL

Ignore Carat Weight and focus on face up proportions.

Some potential options perhaps not as large as you were looking for but it may worth speaking to these two vendors.

Hi. I am also new to the forum and am looking for a cushion in the same ct/price range.

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question.
When you say "focus on proportions and not carat weight" how can I know what is average face up for a given carat weight and what is on the larger side or smaller. In other words how can I know a reference?
