Miranda, it's a pity you're not here. I have no intention of buying the Tourmaline and the dealer knows that. He's also letting me babysit a pair of cotton candy-pink Spinels. Those I'm adopting.

Oh i am so jealous! you get to see the real color of that tourmaline! Ovals just are not my thing.... but SL told me about that one and said the pictures DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE. It is so awesome in pic- is it true and really better in person???

Not YET. This is the thing with colored gems... since there are sooo many colors... i think they are more addictive than diamonds! I know some collect for colllecting... i think right away how i can wear it!

Then again- I can see the benefit of getting a fix by just borrowing a nice gem for a bit. Enjoy your baby sitting!

Linda, I''m a complete novice where it comes to Pads. What should they look like?

Sorry but I'm not crazy about that Pad. I like my Pads to be an even lotus colour (orange pink colour) throughout the stone, not reddish pink on the outside and orange in the center.
