#JOTW Andelain's Catchup Bling Thread

Seeing as how I added some bling to my collection during my PS hiatus, I figured I'd better post a few pics before you ladies send the bling police over here.

I don't remember if these got posted before or not. They're WF pre-set .25 CTW ACA's. I wanted a tiny pair of studs, and these fit the bill. I actually want some smaller then this, but haven't gotten around to ordering yet. Here's the pics from Becca.

The Next Thing I Added Was These JbEG Chandelier Earrings

I've always loved doing business with these ladies, and last spring these pretties jumped off the page and smacked me. They're about 1 1/4" or long, about 1CTW. Very nice diamonds, although not super ideal cut. I love these things.

Merry Christmas to my Mother - Part 2.

Once again, these pics tell the tale. She loves it and wears it 24/7 with her earrings.

I don't remember the details about the stone, except that it's a BGD signature I color, in the .35ct range. Jamie picked it out for me.

Loose Stone Lollapalooza!

About the time I left PS I was buying up some loose stones for a project that's still somewhere in the depths of my mind. I snagged up more than I'll need because a few real good deals came past my nose. I knew I'd use the extras for something. The stones are an 81 pt GIA EX-EX-EX I-SI1, a pair of .67 I-SI1's, a pair of .61 G-SI's, (one WF ACA, one ebay H&A), and 5 from BGD between .41 and .51ct, all G-SI-1's.









There's a couple other stones in the pics, old and not so well cut.

The pic of the loose stack took my breath away. I'm used to seeing five pointers presented that way... but these are, y'know, fifty and eighty pointers, just tucked away in their little box...

Nice collection,thank you for sharing. I really like the drops! I have missed your posts, I love the way you plot and plan a project oops then just pull an Andelain right in the middle and we get a surprise!! Can't wait to see what you have planned for the loose stones. I too have a small collection of random loose stones, about 20 ,none as big as your largest but all around .15-.55 and some melee that is really good as well as 3 cabochon stones,1 of each ruby sapphire and emerald that I am trying to figure out what to do with, so I look forward to hearing what you are planning to do!! If you have any ideas but not blow your secret share please!!!!!

I got the drops from BGD. They stock the mount as a 2 stone per side, but I had them do them for me as one stone and shorten them by a good bit. Since I wasn't on PS I didn't take ear shots of anything. I'll have to wait until I finish chemo before I do, since I'm almost bald and my skin looks really bad right now.

Thanks, I really had fun with that brown diamond thread. As for the loose diamond project, it's going to be a wrap ring to wear with my 1.57 ct Eightstar solitaire. Here's a pic of a ring that's going to be my inspiration.

Believe it or not, I'm pulling another Andelain right now. I was trying to work with GOG on a project using their melee AVR's, and need them to source a flat chain, but have been really disappointed in their responsiveness. I think I'm going to pull the plug on that project. In the last couple days I've been really close to buying a .816ct D-VS2 ES from WF and having them mount it in something to be revealed........
