I actually had a really amazing UK magazine contact me on the back of the builders Insta, to ask if they could feature the house in their magazine. It would be major kudos, but I had to say no. This is our home & my girls private sanctuary, so we decided it will be invasive & a bit ‘showy’ to have it splashed out there for everyone to see. It still makes me itchy that it’s on the builders web, as I have strangers talk to me like they live there

@Ally T, I think you made the correct decision but boy would I have loved to see a magazine with your home photos in it. A woman I knew many years ago, home was featured in Country Living magazine. The pictures were so beautiful. I still have the magazine somewhere. I had been to her home a few times before the magazine contacted her. She worked in a store that sold furniture, fabrics, antique furniture and accessories. I was in the store frequently when we were building our home and was friendly with the women who worked there.

It was a fun experience for her but she said she wouldn’t do it again.
