Lost city of Heracleion has been found under the sea. Thought I'd share-pretty incredible and makes me wonder what else we've got wrong because we haven't re-discovered it yet!

Isn't that fascinating? I saw a couple of documentaries about the work they're doing when it first started & they weren't sure what they had. Ancient Egypt is a lifelong interest of mine, particularly 18th dynasty, much earlier than this, but it's so incredible to see what comes up. Earlier they thought an earthquake might have been the cause, like the one that destroyed Alexandria harbor. Thanks for the link!

Apparently Im with Circe and Rosetta (who I would actually loved to be stuck in a room with as it would be AMAZING COMPANY and some serious BLING!) as I haven't heard of this either and I think it is fascinating! Oh it makes me wish I had done history or archelogy in college instead!
