Am I on the right track with this diamond?

Hi all,

This is my first post. I am looking to buy a diamond engagement ring within the next week. It has to be a princess cut doamond, 'around' the 1ct mark. I’ve tried to stick to VS1 or VS2...and also trying to stay away from anything with a feather in it as it makes me very nervous!
Colour wise, I don't want to go beyond an 'I'

I am based in the UK - I have been looking at Blue Nile. I know you cannot see the actual diamond, but im thinking if I choose wisely, I may be ok...and if worse comes to worse, they offer a full refund if im not happy.

Do you think I am on the right track with the diamond below? I do not want to spend more than that really. Both links are for the same diamond, US / UK sites:

Any advice is much appreciated - thank you

Hi :) With princess cuts unless you are getting an AGS0 pictures are really critical, you can't just go by the table and depth%. The color and clarity on the ones you linked look good, but without pictures we have no way to tell whether or not it will be a beautiful stone. Also the table % is rather high at 77%, usually the table should be less than the depth as a general guideline.

here is an AGS0 from bluenile UK, if you are open to other websites (US) then we can try to find some other candidates with pictures/ASET

If you stick to BlueNile UK stock, I think you will be OK, but if you pick a diamond from a US site, just be warned that you will have to pay customs to import it to the UK -- and you decide to return it, I don't think you can get the customs duties back.
