But...

I was thinking about making a men’s Asscher eternity band like this (except diamonds going all the way around)

I would wear it with either my two carat or my hexagon.

My thought was 10 point (2.7mm) asschers in platinum no wider than 4-4.5mm

Thoughts? I have always loved woman’s eternity rings and didn’t think I could ever pull it off... until I found the photo above on google. I’m not a fan of channel set, but I “think” it works and would look geometric with the baby asschers.

I guess what I’m asking is if this sounds like a good idea- or if I should scrap the idea and say enough is enough!

I really recommend triangular prongs for an asscher band! It truly enhances the clipped corners/windmills. The design I have also maximizes the possible diamond size mm vs band width... you wanted 4 mm? Why not 4 mm asschers..??

If you want I can post more pictures of my band. The stones are 0.11 ct/3 mm each.

I’m saying 4mm because I want to wear it with my other rings. Trust me, my usual “thing” would to be make them bigger blah blah- but then I always end up ruining a beautiful design. Yours is picture perfect!!

Thank you so much @foxinsox !! Only issue I have with it is that it is a bit hard to get completely clean... If someone wanted to replicate it I would recommend looking into ways of making it easier to keep clean... The stones are eye-clean but not loupe clean after my ultra sonic. Annoying to me but I know noone else IRL ever notices.

Update.

My jeweler made the ring in MY SIZE in rose gold “for stock” and of course I went in and had to have it.

Zipped home, grabbed my necklace- and walked out with the ring.

It is 3carats f vs 4.5mm

I never thought I would like rose gold, but I LOVE it.

Ok, Now I’m done for real!

My jeweler made the ring in MY SIZE in rose gold “for stock” and of course I went in and had to have it.

Zipped home, grabbed my necklace- and walked out with the ring.

It is 3carats f vs 4.5mm

I never thought I would like rose gold, but I LOVE it.

Ok, Now I’m done for real!
