After unusual cleaning

In Target with my DH on Saturday, looked down at my Moval and it looked tinted, really brownish ( never like this ever)! Being OCD
about my rings.....I cleaned it with Cascade liquid with dawn!!!!! It works.

I had my ring sized and they rhodium plated ( It’s platinum). This proved to me without a doubt that some rhodium plating can
leave a film on on your diamonds photos inside and outside ( sure gave me a scare)
I didn’t notice it until Saturday ( my jeweler did state recently they have to reclean rhodium plated jewelry
on occasion).....now I know why he brought that up!!!! Must be a very expensive solution.

I have been going to the same jeweler for 20 years, he is a good person...
Just penny pinching I think. They charge $$$ for rhodium plating ,lesson
learned. The tint was not just in Target, in different lighting also.
I have changed jewelers, more expensive and longer wait time...picking
up a ring Wednesday.
