Advice on this diamond

Looks like it is cut well with ideal grades. The color is a lil lower than I would like. Good value?
Based on an earlier post from Gypsy I am def looking for a cut in this category but am I trading off with the color too much?

I think that H or I SI1's (eye clean) are the best value. You're not paying for anything that you can't see.

I personally like H better than "I color" when you can't see it right in front if you because the extent of how darkly an I is tinted is pretty wide, relatively speaking. In other words, it might be a very white "i color" or it could be a borderline "j color"--which definitely has some tint at angles in certain light. Tough to tell without evaluating the diamond in person or against a standardized, controlled white background (like what James Allen or Ritani has).

I think you'll be very happy with the diamond you selected.

Ask WF about the I color, maybe it's a low I or mid I, but they generally will tell you what you need to know to make a judgement call if it's worth wiring the money (in case you don't like it, you can send it back). Before, I thought H was my limit (to hit the sweet spot and go for size), but now I would definitely consider an I or even higher Everything else looks fabulous!
