Advice on small studs

Hello all,
Long time lurker, first time poster here My birthday is coming up and my husband and I are looking into buying a small pair of diamond studs. We found a few options online, but I would like all of your advice on what would be the best buy. Our budget is pretty small, so we're looking at maybe .25ctw. I really want a pair that will perform well despite the small size. Here is what I found so far:

Looking at the 0.32ctw F I1 pair. BGD has a great rep and I know the diamonds would be well cut. Im just concerned about the clarity. Would it matter in a pair this size?

I could get a little more bang for my buck with the ID jewelers pair, but am worried they wouldn't be as well cut as the BGD studs.

0.25ctw pair would be in my price range. A little on the smaller side.

Which of these 3 options would you go for? Thanks for taking the time to read this. I appreciate whatever feedback I can get

I have a pair of uncerted 0.84 ctw studs (H/SI1/VG cut according to their appraisal) from ID Jewelry. The stones appear to be quite nicely cut compared to my department store 0.35 ctw pair. They perform well in pretty much all lighting. I don't think these are my "forever" studs - I will probably trade up for something slightly larger in the next few years, possibly certified.

For now, I really enjoy the pair I have, but I'm glad ID Jewelry has a good upgrade policy. A bunch of people on the forum have bought ID Jewelry studs and been happy with them.

The ID Jewelers studs are looking like a great option. I think 0.40ctw is a nice size for started studs. Thanks for your reply

I like BGD first option. sometimes clarity does affect sparkles so hmmm, I might be a little concerned with I1 but best to ask them and see if they can put the two next to each other and maybe possibly get a picture of them? or see what they say about which ones just dazzles them? for .07ctw difference and $40, I would prefer to to stick with the first option myself.
