I need some advice on choosing between two different diamonds. I am open to other suggestions, price range is 5,000-5,5000. I ideally I am looking for something between .85-.95 ct.m with a very good cut, and color between e-g.

Option #1
Measurements: 6.10 - 6.13 x 3.82 mm
Carat Weight: 0.90 carat
Color Grade: F
Clarity Grade: SI1
Cut Grade: Very Good
Depth: 62.5%
Table: 57%
Crown Angle: 35.5°
Crown Height: 15.0%
Pavilion Angle: 40.6°
Pavilion Depth: 43.0%
Star length: 55%
Lower Half: 75%
Girdle: Slightly Thick to Thick, Faceted
Culet: None
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: None

Option #2
Measurements: 6.17 - 6.21 x 3.57 mm
Carat Weight: 0.80 carat
Color Grade: D
Clarity Grade: SI2
Cut Grade: Very Good
Depth: 57.7%
Table: 60%
Crown Angle: 29.5°
Crown Height: 11.0%
Pavilion Angle: 41.6°
Pavilion Depth: 44.0%
Star length: 55%
Lower Half: 75%
Girdle: Very Thin to Slightly Thick, Faceted
Culet: None
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Good
Fluorescence: None

Should I be worried about the girdle on Option #2 being very thin?

Thanks.

Stone 1 looks great. Here are the HCA results...

Holloway Cut Adviser

Factor Grade
Light Return Excellent
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Excellent
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 1.5 - Excellent
within TIC range

---As long as this stone is eye-clean it looks like a great stone.

__ This stone is also cut very well- the first one is better- IMHO. Also, with an SI2 there is a chance the stone wont be eyeclean- so if you are interested in this stone follow-up with the vendor to ensure that it is eyeclean.

Thanks everyone. I ended up going for #1. The fact that the second one was SI2 was the biggest factor. I hope I got a good deal, I bought it yesterday, and since they were holding it for me they gave it to me at the price before the increase. Now I have to wait for the Tacori setting. Will post pics, once I get it.

Here is the setting by the way:

#1 is hiding weight in the thick girdle (hence vg cut grade), along w/ unusually high crown you're losing some face-up size, but otherwise could be a nice one.

Would be worried about setting/wearing #2 - that crown + vthn girdle = chipping risk. That's ignoring the proportion combinations - never seen a stone like that, though!

ETA: just read you picked #1 - of the two that is my pick also
