Hi fellow Pricescopers - I am new here but have read through a few posts and found your insights really helpful! I was hoping to get your view and opinion on these three shortlisted diamonds from Whiteflash for an engagement ring for my girlfriend, mainly whether I should go for the "value" option here (i.e., lower clarity and/or ES instead of ACA). #A: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4287229.htm #C: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4287227.htm #D: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4189819.htm Do you think the difference between them is minimal enough that I should go with #C (8% cheaper than A) or #D (~25% cheaper than A) instead? A couple of specific questiosn as well: 1) Will #C and #D be both eye-clean (they are labelled yes by WF) 2) Where do you think #D falls short in terms of making it to ACA rating/standard? Is it one of those that just missed it by one or two criteria or do you think it falls short on more than a few criteria? Thanks so much everyone and look forward to hearing about your suggestions! And hope everyone is staying well and healthy! Dave

I like this one the best: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4287227.htm

I like the video. I don't think the 2.6 is the way to go because of the more prominent inclusion; and of the remaining 3 I liked the video of this the best. Most fire.

Thank you @lydial!

I realized my original post was a bit too long so will revise to below for others to comment on as well (don't think I can edit my post anymore). I have eliminated the 2.6 one based on your suggestion =)

#A: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4287229.htm

#C: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4287227.htm

#D: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4189819.htm

Hi everyone, could I get your opinion on these three. Do you think the difference between them is minimal enough that I should go with #C (8% cheaper than A) or #D (~25% cheaper than A) instead?

Thanks much!

it may sound silly, but did you contact whiteflash about these three and ask them what differentiates them? i got an aca and based on my research, it looks like for diamonds to qualify the ACA class, they subject to very strict stats. i guess one way for layman like us to tell the difference is to have Whiteflash take photos of these diamonds or videos side by side under different lighting to help you assess to see if it's worth more $$. good luck

Thanks! I have just shortlisted these two new ones (C/D) over the weekend as I was only looking at the A vs. oneJA True Hearts. I will definitely be speaking to WF to get their view on how the three compares so I can decide if I should go with the lower clarity / cutting to save some $$.

My pick would be A. At over 2 ct I'd prefer a VS stone, plus I'd love the specs on the H VS2 stone the most.

Another vote for A, first choice and C would be second. I’d rule out D personally. I get nervous when an H&A image reveals the inclusions so clearly.

I’m wondering if the inclusions are the reason it misses out on being an ACA. I just looked a 10 ACA’s and don’t see anything out of line with the parameters.
