Hi there, I deleted my other post because I thought I had made up my mind - apparently this was not the case, and I am now comparing these two options on diamonds. They are graded GIA "triple excellent cut" but I have researched and found "excellent" is used very loosely... I will be seeing the diamonds in person, but can anyone advise on whether these have potential/or should look for better, or which one you would choose. Anyway, if any experts can help me decide on one of these diamonds, or provide some insight that would be appreciated so much. Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Option 1:
1.26 carat
Round brilliant
6.91x6.92x4.28mm
F
Si1 (eye-clean)
Ex symm/ex polish
Med blu fluorescence
Table: 56%
Depth: 61.9%
Crown angle: 34.5
Crown height: 15.0%
Pavillion angle: 40.6
Pavillion height: 43.0%
Girdle medium to slightly thick (faceted) 4.0%
Lower girdle 75%
Star facet length 50%
Culet: none
Received an HCA score of 0.7 (so under 2)
I do not have any images to share for this diamond, but I will be checking the ASET and Idealscope in person.
Option 2:
1.30 carat
Round brilliant
6.96x7.00x4.33mm
H
Si1
Ex symmetry/Ex polish
No fluorescence
Table: 56%
Depth: 62.1%
Crown angle: 34.5
Crown height: 15.5%
Pavillion angle: 40.8
Pavillion height: 43.0%
Girdle medium to slightly thick (faceted) 4.0%
Lower girdle 80%
Star facet length 50%
Culet: none
Received an HCA score of 1.1 (so under 2)
Images I have received of the 1.30 carat diamond and its heart & arrow scope are attached. For some reason the photo looks off center to me (not facing diamond head on) Note: It is not a H&A diamond, just hoping it's an ideal cut and the symmetry is acceptable for better than average light performance.
