Hi all, can someone look at the following specs for a stone (0.7 round) from B2C Jewels and tell me if it is worth purchasing? Listed at ~$2800. HCA tool scores it at 1.9 but I am concerned about the strong blue fluoro and the surface graining (what is that??). Also attached a pic from the jeweler (I am not familiar with how to judge a stone using this kind of image), they said no ASET or IS available until I pay and the stone is sent to them from overseas..

Shape and Cutting Style, Round Brilliant
Measurements, 5.69 - 5.70 x 3.43 mm
Carat Weight, 0.70 carat
Color Grade, E
Clarity Grade, VVS2
Cut Grade, Very Good
Polish, Very Good
Symmetry, Excellent
Fluorescence, Strong Blue
Clarity Characteristics, Needle, Pinpoint, Cloud, Surface Graining
Table 61%
Depth 60.2%
Crown Angle 33 degrees
Pavilion Angle 40.6 degrees

Please also recommend anything you think would be better at my ~$3000 budget. Thank you all so much!

I think you would be better off searching for a different diamond as that one has a very large table.. Please give me your desired specifications such as color and carat size, as well as your budget for the diamond itself and ill see if i can find some better ones for you :)

Anywhere from 0.6-1.0 carats, D-F, VVSI +. Budget is ~$3000

Any particular reason you want VVS1 and above? You could drop to VS1 or VS2 and not have any issues with eye cleanliness.

Since I will be purchasing online and won't be able to see the stones in person, buying VVSI and above gives me more reassurance that it will be eye clean, I guess. I'd rather put my money into clarity than carat.

Its completely up to you but i just want to tell you that you can go down to at least a vs2 and ensure that it is eye clean.. I actually like si1 so long as you confirm its eye clean for the best value.. Also going down to a g/ h color will give you the best value. But if that is still your desired specifications on it i will search for you!

Just out of curiosity, what would be the problem with a large table like the one I linked above? Thanks in advance for the info, trying to educate myself.

Thank you all! On your advice I am now considering VS1, but color must remain F or above. Are there stones you'd recommend from either James Allen or B2C? Both those retailers have the setting I'm interested in, but Enchanted Diamonds does not.

Any advice on this James Allen?

Here is the light performance generated image for the James Allen above, can anyone help me interpret it? Thanks so much!
