Advice from vatche u113 2ct. Owners

Hi... I'm looking to set my 2.1ct diamond in the vatche u113. I want the setting to be as close to the Tiffany setting as possible. I have tried on both vatche and Tiffany and the vatche is definitely noticeably thinner. Does anyone with a 2 ct. Vatche setting know the mm size of their band? I know Tiffany specs are a secret but the Tiffany 2 ct. Solitaire band definitely looks thicker and better with my wedding band. I am hoping vatche can customize the u113 to be thicker but I'm not sure of the mm size to request. Any advice?

I have the Vatche u-113 setting and I believe my shank is about 2mm. I have also tried on Tiffany rings and agree that they may be slightly wider. I happen to have a Tiffany Legacy wedding band, and it is about 2.2mm. I would estimate that the Tiffany engagement ring setting is more like 2.2 or so (I definitely would not ask for more than 2.5mm.) I prefer for the wedding band to be the same or slightly wider than the engagement ring.

There are also others who make that ring, incidentally. I know Caysie van Bebber has made one and would likely be willing to change the width of the shank. Here is a picture of one she has made. You might want to price it. You can inquire through Love Affair Diamonds as they sell her settings.

I agree with you on the width-I love the Tiff solitaire and it is def wider than the Vatche

Maple2012 has a custom BGD ring that looks perfect (IMO), I love her set!
