I''m posting this for my husband''s poor cousin who is shopping for an engagement ring for his rich girlfriend. Okay, he''s not broke and can afford a 1ct but she is very rich. She wants platinum for the setting and round as a cut. We''ve convinced him to get her side round diamonds as well as we are not partial to solitaires.
Okay, here''s the question. How low can he go for color? I''m guessing H-I and if ''I'' then it should have some flourescence in it to appear whiter. Am I right? I don''t think he can afford a G anyway.
Also, how hard will it be to match the side stones if the center has some flourescence? I''m think he should get .20 ct each side diamonds because anything smaller wouldn''t look good with a 1 ct.
Okay, one last question. (this one for me) Are there any baguettes with flouresence? My bags pale in comparison to my round center diamond that has a med-strong blue flourescence so I''m hoping to change them to bags that have flour. Are there any out there?
