What’s your timeline? Desired specs/quality?

Lightbox has preset princess cuts right now in 0.5ctw and 1ctw. https://lightboxjewelry.com/collections/earrings-princess

You could also buy two 1ct pendants and have them reset to make a 2ctw pair of earrings. https://lightboxjewelry.com/collections/necklaces-princess

If you have a bit of time, you could wait until the items come into stock and go on sale at Bloomie’s to save a bit of money (stock changes and sales happen frequently, but we’re jusy coming off Black Friday weekend so things are a little picked over) https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/search?keyword=lightbox jewelry

If you want to choose your own stones and customize things a bit more, rarecarat is a great starting place in your search. You can select your specifications and find matched pairs for earrings. https://www.rarecarat.com

I'd looking at a range of 1.5 to 2.0 ctw. I was actually looking at Lightbox's website. I might have to give them a call and ask them about the two 1ct pendant option you suggested. I'd like to get this for Christmas.

You would buy the pendants and have them reset locally by your own jeweler. Many people on the board have done similar projects; search the board and you’ll find tons of threads about it. It’s getting to be a pretty tight timeline, so you might want to stick with preset options. Talk with your local jeweler before ordering anything to make sure they can do a reset in time.

@Buttercookies made a lovely pair of princess earrings via LB reset and I think she’s selling them. If you’re open to preloved I’d consider contacting her; if they’re still available they are an unbeatable price. https://www.pricescope.com/communit...s-studs-lightbox-la-pousette-backings.261444/

Based on your recommendation, I went to the Bloomingdale's link and found a pair of 1.5 ctw cushion earrings- not exactly what I wanted but it was a really good deal. And, most importantly, my wife approved. Thanks for the advice.

I’m glad it worked out! Happy holidays!
