Very pretty. I was going to make a pendant with it. But I told my husband that I would get a ring made for him with it.

It''s such a beautiful color. I really don''t see secondary green in this particular stone.

For comparision with the asscher chrysoberyl. See the difference in the colors... it''s just amazes me!

The cuts on both of these stones are just so beautiful!

I may have to keep this gem to myself.

Maybe my husband won''t notice. I have such a hard time letting go!!

Very pretty - more of a golden color, wheares the asscher is more of a green-yellow.

Love the patterning and the sparkle

Thank you, TL, Amber and Ltfirecracker!! It really does sparkle alot!!

A mans ring, Yahooooo! Please show us when it''s finished.

It looks like gold - absolutely beautiful! Are you really getting a ring made for your husband? It''s such a stunning color!

I don't think I can give up this particular gemstone! OMG...I'm so addicted. I might have to give one of my ebay stones to set for my hubby's ring. I don't think he'll notice....

Don''t give it up!!

well ok then - but will you please show us the ring you have made for him?

That patterning is amazing! I''ve never seen a stone quite like that. You are very generous to lend it out as a ring for hubby.

If you choose to make your hubby a ring with this, may I suggest a semi bezel, with either white gold/platinum shank or all yellow gold? That''s what I''d do with it (probably). A full bezel might be too much, cause it''s obvious this baby likes to be in the sun

Yeah, will, the blue sapphire (that I just used on my ring) was suppose to go to a ring for my hubby, but I took that one.

He really can''t complain, he got a yellow diamond for christmas, so really, he doesn''t need another yellow stone.

I really like the idea of a semi bezel.

I''m going to look for a blue stone, such as a sapphire for my husband, since that''s his favorite color.

Well if he already has a yellow stone, he doesn''t REALLY need another.... (it''s different for us women - we need lots of yellow stones

). You should get him something nice and blue

A yellow diamond - he''s soooo lucky! I hope he has that Christmas present somewhere nice and safe and already set!

I love both of those stones!

Klewis: The yellow diamond was made into a nugget ring (flash back from the 70-80''s), LOL! He loves that ring and wears it proudly.

Thank you, Kelli, I think I''m keeping them for myself!

Another picture of the "wild and crazy" ring...

Thanks for the pic mochi - it looks great! What a lucky guy he is.
