In the past year alone he''s bought me two pairs of diamond earrings, two diamond rings and both me and the kids a new car each. None of us is complaining.

I don''t see the point of making you wait until your B-day to get them. I got my GF a pair of 0.54 ctw studs in platinum for V-day and gave them to her as soon as I got them 10 days before V-day. My next purchase later this summer will be a matching martini pendant. I posted the foillowing studs and jackets/attachments I found at Birks in the Jewelry Pieces forum so some of you might have missed them. Perhaps you will consider having jackets like these after your matching pendant.

To be fair to my dear dh, he did just give me a pair of aquamarine and diamond earrings for Valentine's day, so I guess he figures he's just giving me a couple of weeks to wear them before he gives me the newest ones.

Mother's day is also coming up on March the 6th, so there may even be more sparklies for then too.

I don't think he treats me all that badly really, do you?

love the new earrings Bagpuss! Funny, when I saw that first image of them side by side, I could have sworn one was a new line and one was a classic ACA...guess I still can't really tell! One of them looked as though it possibly had thinner arrows. However your IS images are spot on for new line!

LOVE the picture of them showing the colors and how in the one on the right you can see the colored arrows, SO beautiful. Congrats and early Happy Birthday! Oh and Kudos to hubby too!

My photography leaves a lot to be desired, but at least people can see that the earrings really do show lovely colours.

I''ve now had the chance to compare an ideal cut with my OEC which has always looked extremely sparkly and colourful. My OEC and the Ideal cut stones do have different facet patterns, but both sparkle like crazy and throw off rainbow colours. It''s made me realise how lucky I was to find a really well cut OEC. Paul was spot on when he told me that usually the Old English cut diamonds had much better makes than many of the Old European diamonds. But it''s just nice to be able to see for myself.
