Doxie - I''m killing myself laughing that you were surprised when you looked up ''doxie''!!!!! Oh well, it sure is a ''different'' name! You might enjoy another spelling ''stumble'' concerning those loveable dogs... when we lived in Concord, NH about 20 years ago, we were looking in the local papers for a used car. Here''s basically what one ad said:
"TWO DATSUNS.... one male, one female, sweet tempered, 1st shots, $300 each, call 555-555-5555"
At that time there WAS a car called Datsun (you''re probably too young to remember), but my husband and I were puzzled for a minute, trying to figure out 1) how you could tell a ''male'' car from a ''female'' car, and 2) what kind of shots do they need???? OHHHH, they''re PUPPIES!!!
