just stumbled across the who''s who.... very nice idea.... like it a lot!  garry.... did you get to go up in a that p51?  if so i''d love to hear about it.  i was trying to get up in a p51 in minneapolis last summer but never made it happen - they''re amazing aircraft.  i see that it''s either done up in raaf or raf paint - is there someone in australia that will hire out a ride?  or maybe that''s your aircraft???

It is available for hired flights.
The Old Aeroplane company, it is owned by Judy Pay, who is a friend of a friend (Graham Hosking).

Both are well known in the old war bird world.
GH is restoring a gull wing Corsair, and after that will work on his own Mustang - one of the last ever built during WWII - and apparently very fast :)

yes it is Aussie RAAF colors :)

Gary you lead an intersting life! Love the airplanes, and now you are on an African Safari. Hope you''ll post pictures when you get back!

Garry do you have any new stories to tell? Pictures? Since March? Come on!

Well PQ I just re read your post - I had dinner tonight with 10 of my staff from the store pictured above - we made budget in October and this was the ''night out''.

If both stores make budget it is a night out for partners too.

Drena and I went - she under protest - i told her we were going somewhere ''different'' and to be home early. She heard ''special'' but true to form she switched into entertainment mode and was just delightful (inspite of giving me an ear full ''stop the car - I will walk home'' - on the way to the restraunt.)

I am rambling - but the point is that we all lead hectic lives, but we all have the ability to choose. Most people spend 1-4 hours a night in front of a little screen called a TV. I spend my leisure time doing that in front of this screen. And the difference between work and pleasure is not distinct. I do not rate work as 1 out of 10 and liesure as 9 out of 10.

I read somewhere about balance. Think of a horizontal piece of wire and a bead that slides along it. Hppiness is normally thought to be at the right hand end, and misery at the left hand end. Right?
I try to be happy and be in the middle 5-7. If I am unhappy I try to be 4-5. Lots of people think happy is 10 and unhappy is 0.
But then your bead drops of the wire!!!!
You can always be happier - and no matter how bad things get - there is always someone worse off than you.

So be happy, and do not be too extreme in your moods.
My 5 on the scale might be some peoples 8 or 9. But remeber your defining moments are often the stressful times - like a divorce of death of a child or partner. Then you can go to 2 - but never below 1!

well Garry that''s enough!
Garry, I never knew you had a Who''s Who! I have enjoyed reading about you!! I especially like reading the above, it also speaks volume about you!
