.93 OEC setting help

Hello everyone, I have this stone on hold:

She measures 6.13x6.03. My ring size is 4.5, and I'm looking for a halo setting to bring me to about 8mm of finger coverage.I am looking for suggestions for settings that would showcase the beauty of the stone but not overwhelm it.

I like the engraved bezel plain shank ring at the very bottom. It's gorgeous, blingy but also understated.

All the designs would compliment your wedding band nicely. I'd probably opt for a simply tapered cathedral shank though.

Ok, I made a decision! The CVB casablanca halo in platinum. Thank you everyone for your suggestions- and this site is SOOO helpful. I never even would have known about Caysie's beautiful settings if it wasn't for PS. Erika at love affairs diamonds is also wonderful. I am in good hands!

Hi Acinom! I miss you-I need to catch up on all your new baubles I haven't seen yet! Yes, I love my VC, but it's a little too big for daily wear (I am a teacher,) and I just fell in love with that OEC at LAD. I've always wanted one and it's so lovely. This ring will be my every day ring. And I'll wear my VC when I go out and for special occasions.

Oh! I also didn't notice the inner bezel on the casablanca setting compared to the "anna" casablanca. Being that my stone is 6mm, would you do the inner mill grained bezel OR the plain prong version? The setting will be platinum. I'm not an expert on OECs, and am wondering if the inside bezel will a. make the stone look bigger and stand out and b. affect the sparkle?

Gorgeous choice!!! I love that halo, and I would LOVE to one day own a CVB setting! Both are beautiful, but I really love the one with the bezel. Can't wait to see pictures!!!

Great idea to pick a stone and setting that you can wear on an everyday basis. Both setting options will be stunning. I personally love the version with the inner bezel. It will be such a good combination with an OEC.

I sent Erica a message- inner bezel it is. I love it too. Still trying to decide halo width, though. I don't want it to overwhelm my stone!
