I don't like martinis so I would go with their EIGHT prong or bezel
18.gif
Oh I have not seen the eight prong, I bet those are pretty too; I just saw the 6 prongs irl so that got me thinking. hehe bummer on the martinis. thanks for your thoughts

Skippy - Six prongs look nice, but I think for the size you're considering, martini style would look better. Personally, I'd only get six-prong if my diamonds would be over 1 ct per ear (and I know I'm never gonna get a pair of those) so I prefer less metal for the size you're considering.

Skippy, here are some 8 prongs. I feel like the prongs can be much thinner since there are more of them.

LOL! I get enabled everyday I think. I''ve been stalking studs for a while now, and am having a lot of difficulty figuring out which setting would be best.
31.gif
I know bezels don''t sit right on my goofy ears, so it will be prongs. I love the look of both the martinis and 6 prongs. No help at all!

Woo hoo for an upgrade.
36.gif
I like both styles but I would go with the 6 prong - don''t know why - I just think I''d like them better. I guess I am no help at all.

I''ve been thinking about some WG PC studs. I had 1/2 ct pair that I decided I didn''t want to upgrade at that store so they are now side stones on a RHR with a cushion shape rhodolite garnet. I have a thirst for new jewelry that can never be satisfied.

Oooh very exciting Skippy!

Another vote for martini''s. But that''s just because I love how delicate they are!

hi skippy! when i got my 2ctw i was debating the martini and the eight prong. i let money decide for me. since i was setting in platinum it was $600. more. at the time, the diamonds were a big expenditure and i just didn''t want to go the extra cash. i love the martini but probably would have gone eight prong if it was not more costly. looking back i kind of wish i had just sucked it up and tried the eight prong. i don''t think i will be going larger.

Lynn and Ellen excellent idea, I am game and I am already plotting on what I want to borrow.

MC, TACORI, SWEDISH, LYRA, AKISS, MARCY, SZH07, Ellen, Lynn and CROWN, thank you for your input; I really appreciate it!

CROWN, I want to see your earrings, the size sounds fabulous!

SWEDISH and MARCY, wooo for new studs! SWEDISH are your studs here yet?

eta: I also found this thread on 8 prong https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/wf-33-studs-handmade-bezel-or-8-prong-martini.72485/ it was good to read Mara's input comparing both she tried on.

Decisions, decisions, huh? I can''t wait to see what you decide.

I am going to 1/3 ct. WF ready-set-go studs (RB). Of course that size isn''t listed but they are checking for me.
