I need Help! What type of band do you think I should get to go with my e-ring (a 5ct solitaire on a Vatche U113 setting--which by the way, I highly recommend).
Anything and everything will be appreciated! :)

This is a funny coincidence that someone else just posted a 5 ct round in the same style setting but made by Whiteflash! Your ring is gorgeous! I also have the Vatche U-113, and I highly recommend going to Tiffany to try on their very classic diamond wedding bands with it. Theirs are set very low and work great with that setting! I wear the 2mm Tiffany Legacy band with mine. I love the little band of sparkle letting my diamond be the star. The big decision is whether to go with a band that is sizeable, because most eternity rings cannot be sized and many of us have a change in size over a lifetime. You can have these designs made elsewhere, but there is nowhere better to try on bands to see what you love most with your ring!

Wow, it's a day of 5ct solitaires! Congratulations!

Mine is warm (the diamond and metal), but the shape is the same. :) I also like the solitaire with a plain rose gold band, but this is my favorite way of wearing it.

Thank you for the thorough response and all the links!! I love your ideas. I went to tiffany and loved their 8 point shared prong but i didnt like their prices. I might go elsewhere and try to get that same Tiffany style (ie: Whiteflash or Brian Gavin).

Do you have any opinions about whether to get a full eternity or half eternity?
Thank you again!!

Tourmaline, this is absolutely beautiful! I love this look. Is that a shared prong band? Also, do you have an opinion on half or full eternity rings?
Thank you for your help!!

Thank you all so much for your help!

I have taken a look at tiffanys and online retailers (whiteflash and brian gavin) and found it very helpful. I am still torn. Does anyone have an opinion about 1/2 vs 3/4 vs full eternity bands?

Also I love that solitaire with the diamond band. Is that a shared prong band?

Thank you all again!!

You have such a gorgeous ring! Do you a Tiffany's close to where you live (or other jeweller). In that case I would try as many bands as you can and see what works on your hand and with your personal style.

The benefit of a full eternity is that it does not matter whether the band spins. You have more chance of damaging diamonds though.
I would personally choose a 3/4 eternity.

I would not recommend a full eternity for a young woman. If you consider wearing the ring for a lifetime, hopefully, you are likely to have some change in ring size at some point. I would have a sizing area on any ring, if possible. Not to mention, diamonds can be damaged on a full eternity that is worn daily.
