Would you be open to sharing the specs you want in a diamond (size, color, clarity) and a budget and letting some of the people here see what they can come up with that would work for you?

Sure, I appreciate the help. I am looking for a round .5 carat diamond. VS2 clarity or better (no visible inclusions), G or H color, an ideal cut for maximum light reflection/brillance and a max budget of around $1600 for the stone. Basically a 0.5 carat diamond that really sparkles.

Here's a couple. You can ask James Allen for IS images on any of these.

And I really like the numbers on this one

EDT: Yes, the last one you linked is pretty nice, too. VVS clarity might be overkill and you will pay more for it, but is fine if that is what you want. Staying VS2 or VS1 will still have no visible inclusions and give better value for the money in most cases.

It isn''t an issue.

Earning a VS1 clarity rating means the cloud (or any other inclusion) is difficult to detect by a trained professional under 10x magnification. You would never see it with the naked eye and I can''t even find it in the highly magnified photo.

Yap, definitely not an issue.

No worries with a cloud inclusion in VS1 clarity.

Did I read in the Priscescope tutorial that 1 in 100 VS1 has an eye visible inclusion? In any case, I wouldn't worry about it (if I had it appraised and didn't like it, or just didn't like it, I'd send it back).

No problem. :)

You are very welcome.

I do charge a small fee for any diamond recommendations . . . . . . . you have to post pics of the ring when it is done.
