So like the subject line states, I found a GIA certified 3 carat, G color, SI1. here are the specifics:
Table: 61%
Depth: 73.2%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Good
Measurements: 7.89X7.76X5.68
Fluorescence: medium blue
Culet: none
Girdle: slightly thick - very thick

What is the absolute max you would would be willing to pay for this diamond?
I want to see where the consensus is, and il let you guys know how much its being offered to me.

I'm assuming this is a round brilliant? It is very deep (or is that a typo?)- depth should be 60-62. It has a large table as well - table should be around 54-58. it is facing up small as well - a 3 carat should be around 9.5 mm. This stone is facing up like a 1.75 diamond. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this stone, it's not well cut.

Read through the info under the knowledge tab at the top of the page. If you move this to Rockytalky, the knowledgeable folks over there will help you find a well cut stone in your budget!

I should have specified the cut. Its actually a Princess Cut.

Mods anyway this thread can be moved to Rockytalky please?! thank you!
