3.03ct mmd pics!

So after several years of searching and debating and a crazy amount of research, we finally did it. I'll start with saying I've always wanted a diamond. A real diamond. But with many kids and life, it wasn't doable. I have a 2ct h&a moissanite and a 2ct oec moissanite. I adore both but the diamond was what I wanted. I've been a long time lurker here and just set up an account to post this but figured someone might feel the same as me and would understand. Anyway, here she is!! 3.03ct vs2 xxx I (our anniversary is March 3rd ) set in platinum, size 7 and quite a bit of finger coverage. I'm in love. Sorry for the aweful pics but we're deep cleaning and I took a min to chill out and decided to post... Lol.

Sure!! I actually used Brilliant Earth and had a great experience. The setting is the caliana in platinum. It's gcal graded and HPHT made. Completely eye clean which is was a must for me, lol. I will say I've taken it outside with my moissanites and slightly obsessed I've the differences and am so completely shocked at the light this thing throws. It's so beautiful and I'm still in shock I have it.

Absolutely!! So I have the 2 moissy 2cts and while I love them I wanted a dang diamond . I finally told hubby and he pulled the trigger for me that night, lol. Who knew it was that easy??? The ct size is symbolic of our highschool dating anniversary and while we spent 22 years apart, that date is still the day we began this love. We have a long and fairly romantic love story and now the rock to remind me as times get tough, we've got this.

I don't know what I was expecting but....yes? The moissy has the crazy rainbow sparkle and the diamond has the fire. So it's different but the same in ways. Let me post some pics of all 3...

It really has a ton of fire. I was worried it would underwhelm me since I was accustomed to moissanite but it's quite close and amazing. So close in fact I have to say the h&a moissy is a near dead ringer for a diamond.
