24 FCDs and fun with sticky tack

I keep all my fancy colored diamond certs and a list of all their specs separate from the stones themselves in case something should ever happen. I updated the list today and realized I am up to 24 fancy color diamonds with a total weight of 4.1 carats.

I happened to see a video about how DeBeers made the swan lake necklace and it showed them laying out the diamonds on something that looked like black sticky tack. I have a large gem display box, but I have the hardest time keeping them from moving before I can get the lid back on. I had some sticky tack laying around the house so I thought why not give it a try. It was nice to be able to get an idea of how it might look as a finished product someday.

What a great idea. Not only does this group collectively have great taste in stones, it also has such ingenuity as you have just demonstrated.
