is that a good deal for a Round F VS1 at 1.31 3 EX stone? No culet, no fluorescence and polished faceted girdle in medium - slightly thick?
 
No idea, but if it's from a dealer who's telling you to "buy this stone 'cause it's a great deal, you're getting 21 off rap!!" I'd wager quite a bit against it - even more if said dealer is a "wholesaler".


If you have more info on the stone the experts can tell you if it'll be a good performer.




Rapaport is just a base price guide based on diamonds with "average" proportions, it's not the final decision-maker of how any particular stone should be priced. It's also something that a consumer, without experience and intricate knowledge of the industry, really just can't hope to use as insight.

yes, if its an GIA top cut H&A stone.

You might like the article pointed to here, and the Neil''s last paragraph could be on point. Though you have some of the information to apply, if you had enough, you probably wouldn''t still be shopping.
