I am very impressed with the I&R setting. The sapphires all match, are a lovely medium blue, and there's no gaps. Cannot wait to get this finished and wear it!

That is a fantastic looking ring. I just went and looked at the Ivy & Rose settings and that is cheaper than what some of the moissanite settings are from the Chinese companies....and will real diamonds and sapphires! Did you go with a 7.5 OEC or are you going to do a blue zircon?

It's gorgeous! I have been eyeing the emerald version of this ring for some time. The price is extremely reasonable, but I did notice that they just raised the price on their target rings settings recently, so I think it was smart to snag one.

@swaye2010 I love the look with the (8mm) oec, just what I envisioned. I just asked MoCo if I could exchange the one they sent. Hopefully that won't take long.

I've wanted a sapphire engagement ring since I came to tpf and then pricescope soon after in mid 2009 lmao. I lurked both places so hard before joining. I finally finally became open to lab stones recently.
I'm drooling over the idea of a light blue sapphire solitaire with carving and a french cut sapphire 3/4 eternity band to match. Drool! Telling myself maybe in a year if I manage to get a job, any job while we are overseas since my husband said any money I make is completely mine. Otherwise I am waiting for quite awhile. Qq!

I had asked Tianyu about the brown/champagne stones before. Not sure exactly what shapes are available but they sent me a video of the radiant cut. I have tried the canary yelllow crushed ice and it was not good.

So, I guess they actually classify them as yellow, but they look kinda light brown or brownish-yellow to me. I have been looking at them through the Alibaba app. If you go in through their app page and choose that menu selector in the upper right corner, you can then go to Moissanites > Yellow Moissanites. They have more pics and a video, but here is one pic. You could probably also use this to search for it on their website!

I have been converting one of these! I have a smaller diamond that will fit in a ruby one they have now, I showed it to my husband and...I learned he doesn’t like halo or target in an any way. He’s a colored stone guy but no go. (He’s also a complete doll and puts up with me and my jewel collecting even though I usually wear a plain band so I’ll let it go ).

Oh my goodness, thank you for posting these pics!!! Now I want it even more. I would die for the emerald version in YG! My grandmothers birthstone is sapphire though, so maybe I need more than one.

What are the center stone specs? It’s gorgeous!

The other day he had a ring in his stories that he told me was Georgian paste. Later on, Estate Jewelry Mama did a live IG video and showed a photo of that same ring as an example of a misrepresented item. She did not mention his name but I recognized the ring as it was very distinct. EJM said the friend who sent her the photo asked him to provide an image of the back but he would not.

I noticed that he deleted the ring from his stories after that. In fairness, he may have genuinely thought the ring was Georgian, but that would indicate that he’s not too knowledgeable about antique pieces. The red flag was milgrain detailing, which was not used in that era.

Wow!!! i've seen a lot of pictures of this setting and i am blown away each time. i love it! i can't wait to see the finished pics, i am thinking of buying it as well and setting a moissanite in it.

i was wondering though, has anyone ever purchased the ruby version? i don't recall ever seeing that one on here. could have missed it though.

Bump...I am expecting an OEC moissanite from Mona (formerly of Starsgem) and am thinking about setting my stone into this setting by Ivy&Rose Vintage once I get it:

My mind changes constantly so my wishlist is forever changing. I still think I want the 5 stone moissanite band, but I'm nixing the French Cut eternity band I originally wanted since I read moissanite can crack.

I still want the marquise engagement ring, although I'm pretty sure I'll be getting that as a lab simulated diamond. I don't think I'll be fully happy with it being a moissanite, not because it's moissanite (I love my moissanite pieces and don't plan to replace them with diamonds) but because I think fancy cuts would be better with diamonds. I'm hoping by the time I'm engaged lab diamonds will be a lot less than they are now!
