Many of us get jewelry for Christmas (or Hanukkah) that we don't really need to post a whole thread on, so this is a place we can just post a picture or two and have one thread for all the 2011 jewelry gifts!

I will start! I got the small Tiffany diamond cross:

DH bought me the matching earrings to my garnet necklace from Blue Nile. Oh and I got a photo tent. ;-)

DH got me 1/2 ctw. inside outside diamond hoops, it was a total suprise he picked them out himself Hard to get a good picture but you get the idea:)

My husband also bought me something from Gemvara, but it won't arrive for a couple of weeks :)

This Christmas season was prime time for engagements! I think there were at least two other proposals going down in Rockefeller Center NYC after we got engaged on the ride over. :)

Here are my 2 RHR Christmas present's from the boyfriend. :love:

.20ct Transitional Cut diamond (H-I color; VS1-SI1 clarity), surrounded by sapphires.


1.0 carat oval tanzanite, thirty-eight round brilliant diamonds (with a total estimated diamond weight of 1 carat).

Lovely presents, everyone! I have a little something to add. I actually got this from Neatfreak on DB a couple of months ago but had to wait till Christmas to finally wear it. I lost a similar one a few years back and this one makes a perfect replacement. It's .32ct, I color, SI2 clarity, originally from Blue Nile.

Starshine...I will try to take some..don't have any yet! I really want to get an 18" chain for the cross because I think that length will be better.
 
Diamondseeker absolutely love your cross :love: On my list :naughty: I, like you, like to buy my own jewellery although my DH did very well this year and I received a couple of nice little blue boxes under the tree (will post some pics when later) :wavey:

He has items that were returned to the store and could not be resold and that kind of thing, so a lot of his stock is basically new. He used to sell on ebay but is now starting his own site due to all the fees involved with ebay and paypal. That is how I found his site.

Diamondseeker I did check out this vendor and he seems very nice (none of the larger size in stock). I have had quotes from BGD, IDJ and the latest being facets, theirs is the closest in design to the Tiffany and the diamonds are FVVS/VS and all platinum. Just have to make a decision............. =)

Monny...that's right, I remember now that you wanted the medium. I would be interested in hearing how the prices compared from those various sources. But maybe you can tell us when you post the one you buy! (Gosh, I just looked at the Facets ones and they are like the Tiffany. But their price on the .5 small one is more than I paid for the real Tiffany! So I think they are a little high!)
