2 cushions, which is best?

#1 has too much mush for me.
#2 is hard to say anything about the faceting without a video. I also note that it says Out of Stock

I know you asked for a cushion and have waited a long time, but I wanted a few rounds as you can get a lot more spread (face-up size) in a round. Just wanted to show you options that you could set in a cushion halo to get the outline shape you like.

You could also look at old cuts. They have lovely rainbow flashes. Make sure to watch the videos.

There is a video of #2...it has too much mush under the table. I prefer number 1 but I would need an aset image. Ask B2C if you can get one.
Did you request/get one on the JA K/Si1 stone?

No video for me...just a still image on both IE and Chrome. Weird.
 
I keep going back to the JA one and each time it’s been unavailable! Rockysalamander...those old cuts are breathtaking. This process is frustrating bc I’m so under educated but just from all of your help I am learning so much and now I can see certain things that I did not before.
I still cannot see the mush you all refer to and that troubles me so much. I know some of you only saw one video but saw mush. I wish I could see it so I would quit bothering everyone with this!!
I appreciate all of your input so much thank you.
I’m going to start a search for an old mine cut cushion now. They have so much character!

I'm getting a picture with a little video camera in it...you get the real stone when you click on that.

Its a lovely Old European Cut. Its an early round shaped stone. Old cushions and OEC are beloved around here.

This one from mydiamondzone/ivyrose is a known seller. Its an EGL G SI2, so I would expect if sent to GIA it might come back as a H or I and maybe less than an SI2. They say its eyeclean and I think they are reliable in that regard. Ask for a video in natural light on the back of a hand. That will show you how light goes over the facets.

I like this vendor for their stones and stock settings, but I would not use them for a fully custom ring. In general, most old cuts do better in a protective setting.
