2 ct ideal round... halo or not?!

I actually prefer the plain shank. Makes it a little more unique, more casual, and a better price. Also pair it with a diamond band you get the same effect, and you can pair them with lots of bands and they look good. Take a look at the first large of this!

I'm not familiar with diamond color rating so I don't know what a J color means. But anyways, I'm a halo lover as long as it's delicate and not too thick as to overpower the center stone. My beauty (form the most wonderful man on earth), is a paved split shank as well. I think with a bigger diamond, the halo and paved band will only complement it. For reference, my center stone is 2.6 ct, size 4 finger

Kurapika's halo should give you plenty of coverage. . I really wanted a halo myself from looking at all the jaw dropping halos on PS. But when I put them on,it felt like there wasn't enough delineation between my center and the melee stones. Based on thePSers experience it seems finding the best craftsman makes the difference. Even though you want a big center headlight afive stone gives a lot of finger coverage, especially with a 4.5 finger. I'm a 4.5 too.

A friend had to reset her 2ct with thinner shank as the original channel setting of around 3mm made the center looked smaller. I think with or without melees, a thin shank tends to highlight the center stone.
