Can anybody look through the following and tell me whether this stone is well proportioned and whether it''s a good price please? It''s all so confusing! The price per carat is $8,160 - ie, $17,544 total

I have the GIA certificate. It''s a Princess cut. Details are:
7.10 x 6.93 x 5.10 mm
2.15 carat
Depth - 73.6%
Table - 74%
Girdle - Medium to Thick
Culet - None
Polish - Good
Summetry - Good
Clarity - VVS1
Color - F
Fluoresncence - None

According to the DIY Cut Grader from Dave Atlas' site:

Princess: 2.15c

Table % is a 2B cut grade while other factors are 1A. This is pretty darn good. Can't determine final cut without the crown height % but the 1A-2B other grades are very good. It's on a scale from 1-4.

If you can get the crown angle, run it through using the other specs here:

Price is good too. I ran a search and found similar stones F VVS around same ctw for $17-18k, so you are right i n the middle with your amount. If you have seen the stone in person and it looks good, congrats!

Would get it double checked at an appraiser to be sure before or after purchase (and within your return policy window).
