I'd pick 1.094 G VS2 Hearts and Arrows Round. It's a little bigger, a little cheaper and I'd be okay with VS2 as an eye clean diamond and wouldn't need to pay for VS1. Your mileage may vary :)

I think the VS2 also has slightly better symmetry as well. That, the bigger face up size and lower price would be the one I would choose.

I did notice the slightly better symmetry on the VS2. Would this have a noticeable impact on overall visual impact of the diamond?

What about the inclusions? I notice on the VS1 most are on the edge of the crown, could this potentially be a problem? Whereas the VS2 has inclusions mostly under the table. All are AGS 0 'Ideal', however, any impact on light performance for either?

I kind of wonder also whether the VS1 is actually graded towards the lower end of the VS1 band just due to the amount of actual inclusions?

The better symmetry isn't likely to be noticeable under normal viewing conditions for a stone this size. If you held it inches from your eye then it might be apparent.

The inclusions in either stone aren't likely to cause any issue. Yes, they will affect light performance but not to an appreciable degree. If they were numerous and big as in an I clarity stone then it would be noticeable. But in the VS range you'll be fine.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

One last question, can somebody tell me if the 'roughness' you can see in the diamond picture on the 1.028ct at the top of the north facing arrow would be cause for concern? Perhaps an area of dullness?

The 1.094ct doesn't appear to exhibit any 'roughness' anywhere on the stone.
