1930s ring?

Any idea from these terrible photos if this ring is a legitimate vintage 1930s(ish) Art Deco piece? Going to look at in person on Friday evening and will take my own, hopefully better, photos.

More info about the ring... Supposedly set in platinum, with a 1/2 carat center and over 1 CTW (haven't yet seen it in person). The last photo does make me think it's an antique, because you don't see that flower/star pierced motif on modern rings. Any thoughts on that?
