It's FINALLY here!! It's beautiful, shiny, sparkly and huge (well to me it is :lickout: ) I just want to thank all the PS ers who helped me throughout my setting and diamond selection. If it weren't for PS I would never have known about BGD who provided me with the most beautiful stone and the best customer service ever.

My only concern with the ring is that it spins quite a bit. My finger is size 3.5 but because of my oversized knuckles I can't take it off so I ordered my ring to be size 4 but am now having issues with spinning. So I'm considering sizing beads.

I hope to take some flower shots and better pictures to really show how much this baby sparkles. Enjoy!

Very pretty congrats!! You may get more views if you move this thread to show me the bling forum. People will be sad if they miss seeing such a pretty ring.

thanks sparkles.. how do I do that or do I just repost it. Can I also ask the admin to move it?

You can ask Admin to do it or start another thread there. It's a beautiful ring...congrats! :appl:

Lovely ring agapitor! :appl: I'd love to see a 3/4 view.

Your finger looks like it became accustomed to small rings over time. Your other fingers look thicker relative to the respective knuckle. Have you tried leaving rings off your ring-finger for any prolonged amount of time to see if it would fill out?

More pics of 10 yr upgrade

In addition to my other post **edited to remove old link** I took these outdoor pics as well. They turned slightly better but who am I kidding I'm no photographer. I just wish I can capture the arrows on this beauty  Sorry for overloading you with pics. I can't believe it's already smudged - I just got it last night.

I never took my rings off for the past 10 years and the only reason I realized my ering was too small was because I was trying new rings on for my upgrade. So I'm sure that the indentation was the result of not taking them off. I'm not sure if it would be too late now. I hadn't been wearing my ering the past month and it didn't seem to make a difference :((

You'll have to forgive my ignorance.. what do you mean by 3/4 view? Is it a side profile?

Congratulations on 10 years!! That`s a gorgeous upgrade!!! :appl:

The same thing happened to my fingers when I was pregnant - I got an indentation. I took my rings off for a while and am on a diet, and my finger has gone back to normal. That's only a few months though, not 10 years. Hmm - I wonder too. Maybe you could wear them bigger for a while and see what happens? Perhaps give it 6 months?

Sorry to be cryptic - by 3/4 view I mean a shot that is in between a front profile and a side profile. One that shows the shank, but also the gallery. Similar to the attached. Does that make sense?

thanks Sharon and seeing as you're a fellow Canuck.. Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, that is sooo different! Really nice!

Thanks for posting those shots! :appl:

fabulous upgrade!!! enjoy it!!!!!

Spectacular!! Congrats :)

ooo what a great twist on a traditional look! congratulations on 10 years! it looks gorgeous

aww thanks for the compliments everyone  It's coincidental that it's thanksgiving in Canada because I am SO thankful for finally getting my ring. I just wanted to add that Jamie from BGD just emailed me the other day wondering how I was liking my sparkler.. REALLY.. who does that a month after I bought the stone.. she's awesome!

I LOVE the look of your cross over diamond band. I think it looks great on your hand.

congrats

It looks amazing!

Do a search for "horseshoe sizer" and check it out, it is for hands just like yours. Another PSer uses them and loves them.

Your ring looks absolutely gorgeous!   It looks wonderful on your hand. What a great upgrade....you must be thrilled (and blinded) by your new stone size. From one Canuk to another, Happy Thanksgiving!

Your new ring is just lovely. Great new stone. Yay for upgrades!

Very pretty!

Thank you marcy and gemgirl and yes yay for upgrades indeed! :appl:

Happy thanksgiving to you to Farleysmom I was hoping all the turkey and pumpkin pie would put weight on the base of my finger but alas no luck

Dreamer D I did see the horseshoe insert so I'll ask the jeweler about both beads and the horseshoe and see which one he thinks would work best. I especially wanted to thank you. I really bugged you alot when I first started joined PS. All your posts and pas experience were so similar and relevant to mine and I really appreciate your help.

thank you lovemybling my old ering and wb were kind of the same style and I wanted to incorporate it into the new ring. I originally wanted something uber modern but feared it won't have longevity. I am really happy I went this route.

Amazing upgrade! Congratulations on 10 years! Looks great on you.

Ohh my goodness...what a beauty!! Congrats on your 10 years that is amazing! About the sizing issue I would talk to Brian. I was having a similar issue and he was able to give me a solution that was best for me and my ring :) Good luck and congrats again.

thanks princess.. I should clarify that only the diamond is from BGD and the setting was custom made by a local jeweler. My husband is not a fan of online purchasing and the only way I convinced him with the diamond was BGDs prices were unbeatable. Unfortunate, because the setting was a custom design inspired by BGDs double band setting, the price wasn't feasible for us and therefore couldn't convince him on an online purchase for this one as well.

May I ask what was your solution? My jeweler says to wait a week and see if it settles but it's still spinning out of control and will meet with him next week.
